AN ENGAGEMENT

As if this year wasn't already the best year of my life, on December 27th, Mark gave me this and asked me to marry him. He managed to keep the whole thing a secret, I really had no idea!

It all began on a freezing cold wintery walk to the place where it all started with baby girl strapped to his chest in her carrier. We talked and reminisced about how far we've come over the past seven years and how we're so happy with life right now. The whole walk he was so determined to get a family picture before we left (he actually managed to video the proposal!) and as we got the "picture" he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said YES! Mark picked and designed the ring himself and I have to say, he did very well. I still can't stop staring at it. We then went on a baby free date (!) and celebrated with dinner.  The day was pure bliss and I'm still super giddy.

Well done fiance! I can't wait to be your wife! I love you.
